In Wyoming, you can literally see for miles. Actually, you can see for 60 miles. I’ve had my eyes on Medicine Bow Peak for three months now, but since everyone says that the approach is to gruelsome before the road opens from its winter closure we haven’t made it up there, until now.
The direct translation of the Good Friday from Swedish is the Long Friday. We celebrated it by making the long approach to Medicine Bow Peak. It was sunny, snowy, very windy and extremely beautiful. Totally worth the 6 miles we had to skin to get there.
As always, I’ve stolen some photos from Martin. Thanks for sharing, and for once again dragging me along on one of these half nutty tours!
