This wednesday when I was out running, I had one of those life thrills. You know, when it just strikes you how extremely happy you are right now right here? That this is really the time of your life? Well, I had one of those moments. They don’t come often, so I better write it down so that I remember. I know that I have a tendency of saying that everything is always great and my life is a blast. That is of course just to show off and to convince everyone of my epicness (including myself). In reality, Im really a grumpy person, so I better cherish those moments of bliss when I am fully convinced that my life is really a blast. 🙂
Anyway, today, I get yet another chance of spreading “my-wonderful-life” photos. This morning I once again got up at 5 am to go to go to the area around Cameron Pass. I had just as great company as last time (ok, it might have been even better, coz this time I got to meet yet another great person), and perhaps even better snow. A feet of feather weight dust on crust. A bit sketchy, but really fun. We didn’t reach alpine terrain, due to the strong wind, but the avalanche paths below tree line offered all fun and games. That is, until I once again twisted my knee, and lost my wallet… with both my mastercards, my driving license, my uwyo card, my gym card, well all my cards basically. Oh well, industrialized country problems of today. I have learned that my knee will heel, and my cards are replaceable, and now I’ve had two beers and a pizza (very important with nutrients after a hard days work you know), so it doesn’t feel that bad any more. Although I usually claim that I should always be pittied the most, I really cannot say that that is fair right now. I’m really privileged to have the chance to be here and do this:
Thanks a million Maciej and Seth for an awesome day on the mountain!
