Its not everyday that I get a blog post devoted to me. To be honest, I don’t think that it has ever happened before. But a few days ago, Karin Håberg wrote a post about a ride that we did recently and devoted most of it to me and my rehab. DANG, it feels GOOD when friends cheer on the progress that I’ve made since the accident. It makes me want to push harder and get stronger.
I’ve had the privilige to bike with Karin since 2012. She was good then, but the progress that she has made since is really ultra impressive. I think that she was what you would call a classical XC-biker when we met – strong on the uphill but a bit reluctant on the downhill. But then something happened. All of a sudden Karin was swoshing down mountains like she had done nothing else in her life. It was super impressive, and she always had a smile on her face doing it. I really, really enjoy biking with Karin. She challenges me to go faster and harder, both uphill and downhill – exactly what I like in a girl.
Thumbs up! Here is her blog post (in Swedish), if you haven’t found her blog yet, you should definitely check it out.
