I started taking lunch walks in November. The intention was mainly to keep me from going bonkers from sun deficiency. The sun rays are too slanted to give any vitamine D up here this time of the year (and, hey, now, there isn’t any sun rays, however slanted, anymore), but as we all know the force of the placebo is mighty. To motivate myself to get out in the dark, I started a project: to take one picture every work day. My walks range between 15 to 30 minutes, so I never get far away from the campus. Finding a good photo object is challenging to say the least, and I can’t say that I have succeeded every time, but my little project gets me out regardless of the weather (today, in 20 m/s wind and rain) and I think that is good :).
So here goes: Lunch loops take 1 – the start of the dark time.
