733 is the magic number. 2 years and 3 days, is similarly so. It is the number of days that I have been alive since February 16th in 2014. If I had been just a little bit less lucky, I wouldn’t have been here. But I am. I’m here in Tromsø, my dream home town in the midst of white mountains.
I’m here pursuing my dream to do research on risk taking behavior in avalanche terrain. I’m here pursuing my dream to learn more about my own risk taking and to learn more about being safer, and to help other become safer.
I would like to give thanks for that. I spent my yearly celebration, not by drinking bubbly as I had planned, but by going up Akselkollen with Kjersti under the Aurora Borealis. It felt like the proper way to celebrate this fantastic life of mine. Thanks.
